If your vehicle was impounded or in an accident and you believe it may be in our lot,  feel free to contact our office staff at 616-538-1320 to verify.  When calling to inquire about a vehicle please have the following information ready:
 
  • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).  This number is located on your vehicle registration, title, and proof of insurance.
  • Plate Number. This is available on your vehicle registration.
  • Location of Impound or Accident.  It is very helpful for us to know where we may have picked up your vehicle.
  • Date and Time of the accident or impound.  The date and approximate time is also very helpful in tracking down whether or not we have your vehicle in our inventory.
  • Which police agency was on scene.  Many times we can track your vehicle down easier if we know which police department was on scene and called for towing service.
     
    ONLY THE REGISTERED OWNER MAY RETRIEVE THEIR VEHICLE FROM OUR LOT UNLESS YOU HAVE A VEHICLE RELEASE FORM FROM THE PROPER POLICE DEPARTMENT.

    If your vehicle was impounded by one of the following police departments you will need to contact that police department and retrieve a vehicle release form from them.  You must provide us with that vehicle release form before you are able to access your vehicle.

    Vehicles that were impounded by the City of Grand Rapids Police Department go directly to city owned and operated lots.  Please call the City of Grand Rapids Police Department information desk to verify the location of your vehicle and find out what information you need to get it released from impound.
